David Merl Barr

Akron, OH - On October 10, 2017, David Merl Barr, age 72, passed into God's care.  Dave was born on March 19, 1945 in Akron, OH to Terry Merl and Goldie Agnes (Roberts) Barr.

Dave is survived by a number of nieces and nephews who loved him very much.  He worked most of his life as a machinist in the steel manufacturing industry.  Besides being a good uncle Dave was proud to honorably serve his county in the United States Army serving during Vietnam where he was awarded a National Service Defense Medal.  During his 3 years of service he was stationed in Korea for over a year.
