John Kevin Lennox died peacefully on November 14, 2017 at his home in New Wilmington, PA. He was 62.

John was born on June 26, 1955 in Watertown, NY to his parents John and Marie Lennox. After graduating from high school, John traveled the world enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the USS Belknap. Once his enlistment ended, he began working for the US Postal Service and remained at the USPS for the entirety of his career.

John had a wide array of hobbies. He loved music (especially bluegrass) and was known for his exceptional talent on the banjo. He was happiest outdoors, with much of his life spent fly fishing, hunting, canoeing, and hiking. John had an incredible green thumb, creating beautiful flower and vegetable gardens every spring.  He excelled at a number of other hobbies, including photography and model ship building. While he pretended otherwise, he had a particular soft spot for his pets (both dogs and chickens alike).  John enjoyed watching sports and followed the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Syracuse Orange.

Everyone who knew John appreciated his unique sense of humor. Even at his sickest, he would joke and tease with those around him. His family will always remember him for his bonfires by the creek, his beautifully decorated Christmas trees, his delicious bowls of chili, his love of Charlie Brown and the rest of The Peanuts Gang, his often impatience, and the way in which he lived his life to the fullest.

John is survived by his life partner, Vicki Clavelli; his children John (Nicole) Lennox, Elizabeth Lennox, Dennis Lennox, and Angela Lennox; step-children Missy Clavelli, Christina Clavelli, and Matt Clavelli; and grandchildren Joseph, Julia, Marc, Orlando, and Ellis. He is also survived by his parents, John and Marie; brother Ed Lennox; sister Debbie (Ed) Gerace and family; sister Linda (Doug) Almond and family; and brother-in-law Bob Pacific and family. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul Lennox and sister Sharon Pacific.

A private memorial service will be held in New York in the spring.
