William John Popella

Austintown, OH - After a brief illness on Monday, December 11, 2017, William John Popella, age 52, passed into God's loving embrace.  John was born on August 10, 1965 in Jeannette, PA to William Leonard and Mildred "Millie" Ann (Recknor) Popella.

William is survived by his beloved mother, Millie Popella of Tampa, FL; brother Jeffrey Popella or Tampa, FL; sister-in-law, Tamara Popella; nieces, Savannah, Alexis, Summer Popella; nephews, Jake, Tanner Popella; aunt and uncle, Thelma and Dave Koloskee of Columbiana, OH; cousins, Ruthann and Kevin Gray, Rowen, John, Luca, Sava, and Saidi Wadesisi all of Cleveland, OH.

​William was preceded in death by his father, William L. Popella and brother, Eric Popella.

​Bill was a 1985 graduate of the Greater Latrobe Senior High School then went on to earn a Certificate in Respiratory Therapy from Western Tech and his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at The University of Pittsburgh.

Bill was not only a great son, brother, nephew, cousin and uncle but was loved by his friends and business colleagues from all over the USA.

​A Mass will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 180 7th St., Columbiana, OH 44408.  A Light Social will immediately follow in the church's social hall.
