Anthony "Tony" Lynn Obituary

On Thursday. August 23, 2018, Anthony "Tony" J. Lynn, age 75, passed unexpectedly in St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital. He was born in Youngstown, OH on July 11, 1943 to Arthur James and Marie Lynn.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra J. (Allen) Lynn, his children, Sheryl A. {nee Lynn} (Randy) Rivello, Deborah K. {nee Wilson} (Bill) Adams, George A. (Stephanie) Wilson Sr., Stacey V. Wilson; and grandchildren, George A. Wilson Jr., Christina J. Adams, Brandon Rivello, Adam Rivello, James R. Smith Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kennedy N. Dressler, Joshua A. Adams, Zachary C. Stone; siblings, Larry Lynn and Judith Pachuta.

Anthony was a 1961 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, a member of the United States Trotting association and the Canfield Harness Horseman's Association. He retired in 2016 from both the Mahoning County Fairgrounds Maintenance Department and the Hollywood Gaming Track Crew.

Training and racing standard bred horses was Tony's passion. He always said, "If you're doing something you love...you're never really working and you will always be happy."
