Deborah (Clinton) Cross

Deborah L. Cross, age 62, passed from here to eternal life on Friday, December 14, 2018.  At her side were her son, daughter and other loving family members.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and her sweet and endearing spirit.  Deborah was born on March 6, 1956, the daughter of William D. and Nancy L. Mackin Clinton.  She was a 1974 graduate of Liberty High School and worked for Girard Hardware, Weatherby Coats and Zayre’s Department Stores.  Deborah lived in both Girard and Youngstown for most of her life and had developed many friendships.  With a great sense of humor and welcoming smile, she was always ready to express how she felt about any subject.

Deborah will be fondly remembered by all her loved ones and caregivers.  Deborah leaves to cherish her memory her children, Cassandra Lynn (Vincent) Kuzan of Tega Cay, SC, Dale W. Cross III of Girard; grandchildren, Mason, Preston, Evin, Nina Marinn Kuzan of Tega Cay, Luciano, Alijha Cross of Girard; siblings, Diane (Joe) Coandle of Liberty, Cheryl Clinton of Youngstown, Ruth Jones Clinton of Girard, Rick (Kathy) Anthony of Seven Hills, Ohio; 17 nieces, nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Deborah was also preceded in death by her siblings, Donna M. Flauto, William D. Jr., Richard, Gary,  David Clinton; nephews, Rusty Clinton and John Clinton.

The family wishes to thank all the loving caregivers at Park Center in Youngstown, Briarfield Ashley Circle in Austintown, and Crossroads Hospice for the support and care given to Deborah during her illness.

 A memorial service for Deborah followed by fellowship will be held 6PM Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Birch Hill Cabin.
