Austintown, OH - At home on Saturday, September 30, 2017, Fred Arden Druschel Jr, age 90, passed away in the presence of his family. He was born on October 21, 1926 in New Castle, PA to Fred A. Sr. and Irene May (Woods) Druschel.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Barbara Carol (Davis) Druschel; children, Barbara J. (David) Redick of Hidden Valley, PA, Brad (Ruth) Druschel of Boardman, OH; grandchildren, Brian (Becca) Redick of Hermitage, PA, Becky Redick of Butler, PA, Samantha (Ryan) Jackman of Chicago, IL, Claudia (Josh) and Catherine Druschel; great grandchildren, Remy, Alyssia and Nicky; sister, Eleanor (the late William) Grenfill of CA.
Besides his parents Fred was preceded in death by siblings, Irene and Frank.
Fred honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict where he was award the Purple Heart.
