George John Nicula III

On Tuesday, October 30, 2018, George John Nicula III, age 36, passed away at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after suffering an acute illness last Thursday.  He was born in Youngstown, OH on July 11, 1982 to George John Jr. and Jacky (Crum) Nicula.

George is survived by his wife, Jenna (McCrea) Nicula of Boardman,;mother, Jacky (Crum) Nicula of Austintown, his six children, Damien William and Jonathon Michael of Austintown, Viktor Xavier and Purity Cyrena (their mother, Roxanne Parent) of Lake Milton, and Sebastian Wren and Georgia Rose at home; grandmother, Gwen Crum of Austintown; siblings, Michael (Lindsay) Evanko of Austintown, Joey (JC Rager) Evanko of Lisbon and Tyler Nicula of Austintown; aunts, Candy Crum, Debby (Rich) Fink, Sandy “Sam” Crum and Kathy (Uncle My) Wheeler all of Austintown, Mandy Angle of Hubbard and Melanie (Nicula) Hartman of Girard; many, many cousins, extended family members and friends

Besides his father, George Jr, George III was also preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Joan (Burke) Nicula and A.V. “Bud” Crum.

George enjoyed cooking and was employed by various local restaurants over the years, most recently at Donavito’s in Struthers.  He also had a great love of music (Slip Knot being at the top of his play list) as well as writing, for which he had a poem published by Eternal Portraits entitled “This Pen”. Mostly importantly was the love he had for his children and his family.
