Herbert Lee Snowden Jr, 60 of Vienna passed away peacefully, at his home, on December 21, 2019 at 5:45 am, with his immediate family by his side. Herbert was born July 30, 1959 in Warren, OH, the son of the late Herbert Lee and Dorothea (Eakins) Snowden Sr.
Herbert worked most of his career as a glazer and tow motor driver until a work-related accident in 1994, disable him from further doing what he loved. He was a Mr. Mom who raised his daughter and then lovingly helped raise 4 grandkids. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan; you would find him yelling at the TV every Sunday. Also, for many years, he bowled on a league here in Trumbull County. He would also frequent Mountaineer Casino with his wife Gayle on date nights. He loved spending time with his family especially his 4 grandkids and being outside in his garden. He was an avid builder and could build anything without any schooling in the field.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 40 years, Gayle (Panttila) Snowden, his daughter, Jessica and his 4 grandchildren: Braden, Jalen, Caden, and Kaisley. He also leaves behind 3 sisters: Gena Kuhns of Cortland, Dotsy Snowden of Cortland and Margaret (Randy) Horner of Johnson, and one sister-in law.
