Bessemer (Mahoning Twp.), PA - On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, Howard Franklin "Frank" Jarrett, Jr., age 72, passed away in UPMC Jameson in New Castle, PA. Frank was born on August 26, 1945 in Atlanta, GA to Howard F. Sr. & Gladys (Hayes) Jarrett. He was a genuine cowboy from birth.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Muriel (Howard) Jarrett of Bessemer, PA; 3 children, Kimberlee (Joyce) Jarrett-Cribbs of Bessemer, PA; Phae Jarrett (Bill) Thompson of Porterdale, GA; Helen Frances Settlemires of Covington, GA; 2 grandchildren, Sarah Grace Settlemires and Matthew Chandler Bynum.
Frank worked as a machine operator for several power tool manufactures. He honorably severed his country in the United States Army and served three years active duty in Vietnam. Frank was an avid car collector and his favorite place in the world was underneath the hood.
Instead of a funeral service, Frank wanted his family to gather and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, he wanted donations to be made to the family.
