John "Butch" Michael Hanysh

Boardman, OH - John Michael Hanysh, age 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at Hospice House in Poland with his family by his side. 
John was born January 13, 1946, in Salem, Ohio to Dr. Myron and Gloria Hanysh.

John graduated from Austintown Fitch in 1964 and pursued careers in the photography and printing industry. He began his professional career as a wedding photographer before his employment at City Printing in Youngstown. He then left for St. Croix, USVI, where he resided for nearly 25 years and started a successful printing company, Island Images.

John was a volunteer at the Society of the Blind, an avid aviation enthusiast and held a pilots license for many years. He was known for his generosity, love of fishing, cooking, and making people laugh. The room was never short on laughter when he was around. 

John will be sadly missed by his son, John E. Hanysh, two daughters, Jamie Navarez and Michelle Gross; his sister, Ginger Brobender, brother Carl Hanysh and sister-in-law Janet; four grandchildren and his roommate Brian.

John was about living life to the fullest, and instead of a funeral service, he wanted his family to gather and celebrate his life.
