Leonard H Johnson Jr

Early on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, Leonard H. Johnson Jr, age 64, passed at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.  He was born in Youngstown on December 31, 1954 to Leonard and Anne (Hamilton) Johnson.

Leonard was a 1973 graduate of Jackson-Milton High School.  He spent most of his working life laboring with various factory work and in the auto-repair industry as a painter.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors and tinkering in the garage.  Leonard is lovingly missed and survived by his wife, Linda (Terry) Johnson, who he married on August 31, 1974; children, Leonard Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Adam Johnson, Sarah (Mathew) Crummel; grandchildren, Leonard Johnson Jr, Mya Havidich-Crummel, Noah Crummel, another bundle due to arrive this November; father, Leonard Johnson Sr; siblings, Chris (Don) McDougal, Joanne (Leroy) Johns, John Johnson, sister-in-law and close friend, Pamela Terry, many nieces and nephews.

Leonard was preceded in death by his mother, Anne (Hamilton) Johnson, and sister, Sharon (Johnson) Whitehair.

In keeping with Leonard's spirit, services will be private and at a later date his ashes will be spread out west where he always wanted to go.
