Linda Jo Creighton

Linda Jo Creighton of Youngstown, Ohio passed away of natural causes on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the age of 70. She was born September 1, 1947 to James & Ella M. (Taylor) Creighton in San Diego, California.   Linda graduated from Austintown Fitch High School, class of 1965.  Her love for cooking and baking led to her retired career in the food service and dietary industry.  She was passionate about genealogy, NASCAR racing (#3), country music and afternoon shopping trips with her family.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved children, Connie (Chip Wertman) Brue, Michael (Tina Shargo)Hedrich; grandchildren, Nikki (Matt), Toni, Taylor (Billy), Justin (Annah), Michael and Maliyah; great-grandchildren, Michael, Ariah, Aubrey; brother, Butch (Pam); and her extended family, Tracy, Melissa, Mariah, Raelin and Lilly. She leaves her love with whom she made her home, Joe Jubak and their dog, Rusty.

Besides her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Art and Mabel Green; step-mother, Tootsie; brother, James and her sweet dog, Roxanne; her old companion who will be waiting for her at heaven’s gate. 

Linda was a very caring person and made sure she was always there for her loved ones when they needed her most. She was feisty and beautiful and set a great example of how to live. She most enjoyed her time in the kitchen, sending treats to all her family and friends (especially cookies, pumpkin rolls and wedding soup). She will be missed very dearly by all that crossed her path, both near and far.
