Linda Charlene Elias

In the early hours of December 4, 2018, Linda C. Elias, age 65, of New Castle, passed away at home surrounded by her family.  She was born in Ellwood City, PA on August 19, 1953 the daughter of the late Charles “Chink” and Mary (Ottaviani) Elias.

Linda was a beloved mother, sister, aunt and Nana.  She is survived by her children, Norman (Jennifer) Lloyd of New Castle, Shawn (Lara) Carter of State College; sisters, Freda (Bobby Cioffi) Shaftic of New Castle, Laura (Ralph) Stefano of New Castle; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Alison Lloyd, Angelique, Shawn Carter, Parker, Hayden and Keaton Kingshipp.

Linda retired as an accountant and was previously employed at both, Sparmon Fischler and Mellon Bank of Pittsburgh.  One of her favorite places to visit was Camp Elias.  Linda had many friends who all loved her yet most of all she enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She had a firm belief in God and it was that commitment to Him that supported her and ultimately gave her peace.

Linda’s wishes were simple, that no public service be observed and only that everyone keep her family in their prayers.
