Mary Louise (Shears) Kansakar

On Saturday, July 21, 2018, Mary Louise (Shears) Kansakar, age 77, passed away peacefully in Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center with her daughter Patricia at her side.  She was born in Vienna, WV on May 28, 1941 to George and Flora (Ferguson) Shears.

Mary Lou is survived by her children, Patricia Monahan-Corvia of Aliquippa, William Monahan Jr. of TX, Robert Monahan of Moon Twp; grandchildren, Robert Monahan Jr, James Monahan, both of Moon Twp, Eric Corvia of Baden, Katt Monahan of TX, Kevin Monahan of TX, Stephen (Liz) Monahan of VA; great-grandchildren, Olivia Monahan of VA, Christopher Monahan of NM; brother, Richard (Maryann) Shears of Youngstown, OH; niece, Kathy Shears, Richard Shears Jr., Mark Shears; her good friend Kim Phillips, for whom the family would like to thank for all the love and devotion she has shown Mary Lou throughout the years and her former husband, William Monahan.

Memorial service will take place in the auditorium at Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center (formerly Friendship Ridge) 246 Friendship Circle Beaver, Pa on Friday August 3, 2018 at 3:00 PM. Interment will be done at a later date.
