Melvin Louis Glenn

Unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, Melvin Louis Glenn, age 52, passed away at home.  He was born in Youngstown, on November 1, 1966 to Clee Arthur Glenn and Barbara Lee (Pace) Hopes.

Besides his mother, Melvin is survived by his children, Melvin Matthew Wilson, Arkeela Glenn; siblings, Jerome Glenn of Youngstown, Lisa Hopes-Olverson of Columbus, Kevin Hopes of Girard, three other Glenn brothers.

Besides his father, Melvin was also preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Diane Glenn.

A gathering of family and friends celebrating the life of Melvin Glenn will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 2821 Hillman St., YO, OH 44507. The doors will open at Noon and the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1 pm with the Rev. Monroe Jennings officiating.
