Nancy M (Salter) Haught

On Sunday, November 4, 2018, Nancy M. (Salter) Haught, age 79, passed at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in East Liverpool, OH on February 13, 1939 to Ralph and Pauline (Wagoner) Salter.

Nancy is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Karl Haught; children, Karl (Sherry) Haught, Jr., of Delaware, OH, Brigitte Osborn of New Waterford, OH, J. Eric Haught of Marion, OH; grandchildren, Erin Haught, Joey Haught, Steven (Rachel) Cooper, Dalton (Kari) Osborn, Dylan Osborn, Zachary Haught, Seth Haught, Sarah Haught and great-grandchild, Dylan Ropke. 

Besides her parents Nancy was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jim Varian and Lois Grafton.

Nancy was a 1956 graduate of East Liverpool High School.  She loved to sing and was a member of the schools Madrigals and Concert Choir. Besides having the most important job of wife and mother, Nancy was employed for ten years at J.C. Penney Co. as a Retail Floor Manager and three years at the YMCA.  She is a member of First Church of Christ in East Palestine, OH, a very active member and Secretary of the Telecom Pioneers of Ohio, T.O.P.S. (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) 319 and former member of the First Baptist Church in East Liverpool, OH.  Nancy enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, Christian music, singing, bowling, card club, reading, cooking, playing board games, cross stitching, crocheting, flowers and especially loved Christmas. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the First Church of Christ, 20 West Martin Street, East Palestine, Ohio. Donations to the church are welcomed in honor of Nancy.
