Greenville, PA - Paul "Hawk" Steven Tymochko passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at home surrounded by his family and friends; due to complications from prostate cancer.
Paul was born in Greenville, Pennsylvania on March 26, 1954 to Maurice Stanley and Ann Louise (Semroc) Tymochko. He attended St. Michael’s elementary school and graduated from Reynolds High School in 1972.
Following school, he served in the U.S Navy with the Seabees from 1972-75. He was inspired and lived by their motto of, “We build. We fight; CAN DO.”
On May 16th 1987 he married his wife, of 31 years, Patricia Ann (Sarchet) Tymochko who survives at home.
He retired from Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad where he worked as a conductor and engineer for 37 years.
He was a dedicated family man and lived for his children. He loved fishing for perch on Lake Erie and was fond of deer hunting. He delighted in traveling to local golf courses with his close golf buddies. He took great pleasure in cruising in his antique 36’ Ford coupe. He’ll be missed by the family dog and cat, Ruger and Remi.
He was an active member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1446 and Greenville Elks Lodge #145.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his son, Nicholas “Sparrow” Stanley Tymochko, Phoenix, AZ, Larae Tymochko, Marshfield, WI; 2 sisters, Paulette (Ed) Farkas, Farrell, PA, Kathy (Kevin) McCann, Hadley, PA; 2 brother-in-laws, Dennis (Linda) Sarchet, Hickory, PA, Charles Sarchet, Raiford, FL; 4 nephews, George Farkas, Brad, Matt and Dennis Sarchet; 3 nieces Alana Small, Pamela Farkas, and Christine Sarchet.
