Raymond William Trares

On Wednesday January 1, 2020, Raymond William Trares, age 85, of Lisbon, Ohio passed away with his family and friends by his side.  He was born in Suffield, Ohio, on September 21, 1934 to Carl and Marie (Rhodes) Trares.

Raymond is survived by the love of his life, wife, Marilyn (Hazel) Trares of Lisbon, Ohio; step-children, James (Mitzi) Chuey of Lisbon, Ohio, Shane (Michelle) Chuey of Leetonia, Ohio, step-son-in-law, Shane McVay, of Salineville, Ohio; step-grandchildren,  Julia (Beau Tagenhorst) Chuey of East Liverpool, Dylan (Kayla Richards) McDevitt of Salineville, Ohio, Alexis Marie (Randy Fegert) McDevitt of Salem, Ohio, Zachary, Brandon, Autumn Chuey of Leetonia, Ohio; Kyle McVay of Salineville, Ohio; step-great grandson; Malcolm William Fegert of Salem, Ohio; sister, Mary Catherine Trares of Modadore, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Raymond was also preceded in death by his step-daughter, Stephany Dawn McVay; step-grandson, Andrew Myers; siblings, John Trares, Carl Trares Jr., Pauline Luli and Joan Belmonte.

After high school, Raymond, honorably served in the United States Army and spent most of his life as a dairy farmer and being a “favorite” uncle.
