Robert "Bob" L. Jones

On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, Robert "Bob" L. Jones, age 83, passed peacefully at Briarfield Manor in Austintown, OH.  Bob was born in Youngstown on January 3, 1936 to John Jones and Melvina Jones Brown

Bob is survived by his son, Robert L. Jones Jr., formerly of Austintown, OH and his children.  Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, John Jones and step-father, James W. Brown.

Bob spent his early years growing up on Youngstown's Southside. After high school graduation, he attended Northeast Ohio Medical University earning his Batchloer of Science Degree is Pharmacology.  He was a Pharmacist for many years prior to his retirement.  One of his favorite hobbies was performing Magic and belonged to The International Brotherhood of Magicians.   Bob excelled in slight of hand magic, particularly with coins and cards.

There will be no public service, Bob would prefer being remembered for the relationships he forged throughout his life.  In keeping with his wishes and science background, Bob made a humanity gift by donating his body to Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, OH.
