New Castle, PA - Sandra M Hause, age 61, died on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Cleveland on March 25, 1956 to the late Charles Hause and the late Patricia Peters.
She is survived by her children Danette Neely, Angela Hagberg, Jimmy (Theresa) Hagberg II, Charles (Ashley) Hause II; grandchildren, Abbigail Hause, Stephani Hause, Cera Hagberg, Dante Hagberg, Aaron Shira, Micah Neely and Robert Neely.
Sandi was a long time resident of New Castle, PA. She graduated from Hamilton University with a Master’s Degree in Community and Human Services and was a Mental Health Advocate for Lawrence County for over 25 years. Sandi founded the Lawrence County Client Satisfaction Team in Lawrence County, served as the President of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill in Lawrence County, as well as the Western PA Partnership for Family Support, worked on multiple grant proposals for various states to improveheir mental health systems. She also spent twelve years on the state level in PA helping to improve mental health standards for children and families as part of the OMHSAS Advisory Committee.
Sandi had an extremely large heart for anyone who needed help or who wanted to improve their lives. Her sense of humor kept her family laughing thru the hardest of times and the worst of days. She was the strongest woman they have ever known. Her family said they will remember her as a spectacular parent, mother-in-law, grandmother, and best friend. She enjoyed spending time with them and was a devoted Dr. Pepper fan, enjoyed reading, loved her pets/most any animal, cooking her special recipe foods and the Cleveland Browns.
