William "Tim" George Setree

On Tuesday, October 8, 2019. William "Tim" George Setree, age 71, of North Jackson, OH, passed away in St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.  He was born in Youngstown on December 23, 1947 to George William Setree and Wilma (Young) Setree Drake.

Tim is survived by his mother, Wilma Drake of North Jackson; children, Todd (Hollie Scott) Setree, Jodie Setree, all of Austintown; grandchildren, Caitlyn Setree, Collin McBride, Braddick Singleton; sister, Susan Helmick of North Jackson; cousin "brother," Robert Smith; former wife and good friend, Barbara Setree; three step-sisters, nieces, nephews and other family members.

Besides his father, Tim was also preceded in death by his son, Joseph Austin Setree, at birth; brother, Jackie Setree; step-father, Jim Drake, who raised Tim and brother-in-law, Kent Helmick.

Tim was a 1965 graduate of Jackson Milton High School where he enjoyed and played on the school's football and baseball teams.  He honorably served his country in the United State Marine Corps Reserves and  spent his entire career in the trucking industry.  Tim loved all Cleveland, OH sports and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, as well as, Past Master of the Meander Lodge of North Jackson.
