Aaron Michael Germann

On Saturday, March 14, 2026, Aaron Michael Germann, affectionately known as "AWAL," age 50, passed away unexpectedly at home in Poland, OH. He was born on June 3, 1975, in Pittsburgh, PA, to  Edith (Henline) Germann. Aaron grew up in Pennsylvania and later relocated to Ohio with his brother.

Aaron spent his early years in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pennsylvania. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and went on to work primarily in sales throughout his career. A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Aaron also enjoyed watching shows like *Criminal Minds* and *CSI*, listening to the band Tool, and indulging in spicy foods. He had a unique appreciation for the unconventional, including his fondness for the 2010 movie *Rubber*.

Aaron is survived by his daughter, Kaleigh Langlan of Mansfield, OH, and his brothers, Robert Germann of Mansfield, OH, and Richard Germann of Columbus, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents.
