Angela Caprice Vakasy

On Friday, August 13, 2021, Angela Caprice Vakasy, age 50, of Campbell, OH passed away unexpectedly at home where she cared for her grandmother. She was born in Youngstown on January 24, 1971 to Gerald "Jerry" and the late Jacqueline (Newland) Vakasy.

Angela grew up in Youngstown and graduated from Ursuline High School in 1990. Later, she worked as a residential electrician. She loved her dog, Jazzy, beyond belief. This wasn't surprising given her great love of animals and nature. She also dearly loved her friends and family, and they loved her back in return. We hope that she knew this and held it close to her heart. She was a good soul with simple needs, and what she lacked materially, she overwhelmed with love and generosity.

Angela is survived by her father, Jerry Vakasy; sister, Toni (James) M. Liptak of Pulaski; grandmother, Betty Bonzai; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
