Arlene May (Spencer) Ireland

On Friday, March 27, 2026, Arlene May Ireland, age 89, of Fowler, OH, passed away at Liberty Healthcare. She was born April 28, 1936, in Warren, OH, to Merle and Helen (Saltzman) Spencer.

Arlene was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Robert Thomas Ireland, on July 16, 1955. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Larry (Tangi Day) Ireland and Shirley Tingler; grandchildren, Nicholas (Tonya) Ireland, Heather (Mike) Ireland, Jennifer (Jon) Kay, and Justin (Shalyn) Kay; and her great-grandchildren, Jason, Mathew, Rowen, and Alanna. Arlene is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Lois Shaffer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald L. Spencer.

Arlene’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her legacy bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
