Barbara Cochran Obituary

Surrounded by her family on Monday, August 16, 2021, Barbara "Barbie" J. Cochran, age 74, of Austintown, OH succumbed to cancer. She was born on December 22, 1946, in Kittanning, PA to Marshall and Dorothy (Crissman) Johns.

Barbie is survived by her loving children Donald (Kelly) Cochran, Debora Barwick; grandchildren, Franklin Barwick, Stacey (John Arcuri) Barwick, Sara Blackstone Samantha Skully; great-grandchildren, Franklin, Johnny, Gaia, Mira, Landon; brothers, Joe (Renee) Johns and Jeff Crissman.

Barbie was a longtime resident of on Belle Ave. She shared her home with her companion of twenty-six years, Frank Barwick, Sr. She was the motherly type and always welcomed everyone with open arms. Barbie was the glue that held the family together. One of her favorite activities was sitting on the front porch listening to country music.

Besides her parent Barbie was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Cochran; sibling, Henry Johns; Angela Baker; and grandson, Corey James.
