Charles L. Arn

On Thursday, September 19, 2019, Charles L. Arn, age 67, of Austintown took his step up the Stairway to Heaven.  He was born in Youngstown on December 2, 1951 to John and Ruth (Braunbern) Arn.

Charles, aka "Papa Goat," loved to fish, watch Nascar and was an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan. He was a family man and his family loved him very much.  Charles is survived by his beloved wife Victoria S. (Miller)  Arn, who he married on June 1, 1991; children, Charles (Bethe Sanford) Arn Jr., Scott (Jaimie) Arn, Shawn (Lauren Trittschuh), Adrienne (Ryan) Barta, Tiffany (Will) Woods; grandchildren, Hayley, Brenna, Braydan, Olivia, Charlotte, Aubree, Bentley Shawn Jr.; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Saren, Syler; mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Jeannie Miller; siblings, Missey (Tim) Rech, Richard Arn; sister in law, Jerry Arn; great friends, Jim and Debbie Thompson, their daughters, Ashley (Justin) Solvey, Tiffany Bryant and their grandchildren, Andrew, Connor, Violet Clare, James, as well as, many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his, granddaughter, Elizabeth Woods and brother, John.

The Arn family would like to thank the entire staff of Omni Manor staff who went above and beyond for Charles, their "Papa Goat", who loved them and considered them part of his family.  They would also like the thank Hospice of the Valley for their compassion to Charles and the help they provide his family as they cope with his loss.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Arn Families' church, West Austintown United Methodist Church, on November 2, 2019 at 11:00 am.
