Connie Francis Ramos

On Thursday, August 27, 2026, Connie Francis Ramos, age 66, of Youngstown, OH,  passed away peacefully at home.  She was born December 31, 1959, in Youngstown, OH, to Lupe and Wavlen (Shaffer) Ramos.

She spent her life rooted in the community that remained her home. She faced years of battling different cancers and, throughout that time, never complained. Her spirit would lighten up a room, and that enduring presence will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Like a warm meal shared on a cold evening, Connie brought comfort where it was needed most. She loved cooking, shopping, fishing, and cheering for the Cleveland Browns.

Connie is survived by her children, Melissa Fowler, Deanna Fowler, William (Samantha) Perez, Jessica Perez, all of Youngstown, and Chrishelle Gruber of Columbus. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nathaniel (Syrennah) Fowler and Dominique Fowler, Fabian and Lilliana Perez, Madison Pagan, all of Youngstown; Dominic (Arianna) Fowler of Austintown; Mya Magnatta of Boardman; Jose Perez of Dayton; Armonie Perez of McDonald; and Ziaire Dotson of Columbus.  She is further survived by her siblings, Sandy Ramos and Joseph Ramos, both of Youngstown, Josephine Ramos of Austintown, and Margaret Cruz of Boardman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband, Mark Fowler, and her sister, Loretta Bosworth.

Connie’s life was marked by perseverance and by a presence that brought light to others. Her memory will remain with her family and with all who had the opportunity to know her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
