Daniel Leroy Mitchell-Wiggins

On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Daniel Leroy Mitchell-Wiggins, age 32, of Youngstown, OH, passed away at Mercy Health-Boardman. He was born July 6, 1993, in Youngstown, OH, to Daniel Leroy Mitchell and JoAnn Wiggins.

Daniel is survived by his daughter, Savannah Evans; sisters, Shenika Wiggins, Kamila Morgan, and Shannon Carter; and brothers, Tyrone Jennings and Leonard Carter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Daniel lived a meaningful life—not through wealth, popularity, or perfection—but through authenticity and humility. He had a remarkable ability to find the good in everything, sharing himself openly and touching the lives of those around him, despite all that he had been through. A true believer in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who guided his every step. Never giving up spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to all. 

His heart of gold radiated hope, strength, and joy to others. He served as a beacon of light in many lives, offering comfort and encouragement through his steadfast spirit.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and live on through the lives he touched with warmth, faith, and enduring love.
