Deborah Ann Halfelder

Deborah Ann (Debbie) Halfelder, 69, of Austintown, OH passed away on January 10, 2025, surrounded by family, following complications from kidney disease.

Debbie was one of a kind. She was a feisty, “life of the party” kind of woman, who wasn’t afraid to share her bold spirit.  She loved her casino and bingo nights, but what she loved most of all was spending time with her family.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Paul Halfelder, of  Austintown, OH; her sons, Roger (Robin) Scott and Brian (Becky)  Scott, of Youngstown, OH; grandchildren, Desiree (Jawaylin) Ritchey, Elizabeth Scott, Taylor Mele, all of Youngstown, OH, and Brandon (Joanie) Scott of Warren, OH; great-grandson, Jace Ritchie, of Youngstown, OH; sisters, Elizabeth Kobly of Florida, Pamela Kobly, of Youngstown, OH, and Denise Hensley, of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph P. and Dorothy A. Kobly: her son, Steven J. Scott; and her daughter in law, Darlene L. Scott.

A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held at a later date.
