Debra "Debbie" Miller Obituary

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Debra "Debbie" Ann Miller, age 71, of Niles, OH, passed away at Mercy Health - Youngstown. She was born July 12, 1954, in Salem, OH, to Kenneth Lester and Viola Mae (Bochert) Miller.

Her life was filled with creativity, love for her family, and a passion for making every moment special.

Debbie was a 1972 graduate of Jackson-Milton High School and a true jack-of-all-trades who found joy in countless pursuits. She had a talent for growing beautiful flowers and baking delicious cookies that brought smiles to those around her. Holidays were especially meaningful to Debbie; she delighted in decorating, crafting thoughtful presents, and even donning costumes to make celebrations unforgettable. Her love of crafts extended to all kinds of creative projects, and she enjoyed playing board games with her family, often sharing her wry sense of humor during these cherished moments.

She took great pride in watching her grandchildren play sports and actively supported their activities, including helping with Boy Scouts. Debbie also gave back to her community by donating baskets for charitable causes. In her leisure time, she enjoyed exploring her family tree and even playing video games—a testament to her adventurous spirit.

Debbie is survived by her son Christopher Miller (Tara Belica) and their son Maxwell; her daughter Jennifer Pugh (Robert) and their children Rob (Corrinne), Kristen, Logan, Brodric, Samuel, and Liam Pugh; as well as great-grandchildren Freya and Willow Pugh. She is also survived by her siblings Richard (Sue) Miller, Fredrick (Suzie) Miller, Ronald (Jean) Miller, Gary Miller, Karen (Jim Sr.) Hanek, and Nancy Bryner. Debbie also held a deep affection for her many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her three brothers, Infant Miller, Donald Miller, and Thomas Miller.

Debbie’s memory will live on through the lives she touched with her kindness and creativity. May she be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
