Donna Jean Reiter

Ms. Donna Jean Reiter, age 82, of Austintown, OH passed away at home on Wednesday morning, September 4, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born August 10, 1942, in Fredonia PA, the daughter of Fred F. and Betty G. (Mosley) Spargo.

After many years of employment in various nursing homes, Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and taking family vacations. She was a caregiver to many that she loved dearly.

Donna was an avid reader, loved quilting, embroidering, fishing, prospecting, being in nature, and enjoyed gardening and canning.

Although she was not affiliated with a church, she was a strong believer in the Lord and Savior.

Donna will be forever missed by her sisters Jackie (Tom) Runyan and Betty Spargo, and brothers Bill (Cheryl) and Fred Spargo; daughters Barbara Womer and Robin (Michael) Zandarski; her grandchildren Hope (Danny) Nalos, LeAnn (Nick) Zandarski, Jennifer Mazzola, Michele Zandarski, Ashley (Darricle) McKelvey, and John (Sarah) McKelvey; her great-grandchildren Taylor Pachell, Anthony (Aailyah) Zandarski, Blake (Madison) Pachell, Juliette (Jarrod) Merrell, Nixie (Trentin) Merrell, Jaden Merrell, Areanna Mazzola, Emily Glenn, Lillian Dota, Athena and Orion Mott, and Julius and Osiris McKelvey; and her great-great-grandchildren Rosalina  Moran, Cameron Johnson, Kara Karnes, and Eliana Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Donna was proceeded in death by her stepmother Virginia; her sisters, Arlene (Kenny) McCartney, Laura (Jim) Jones, and Norma Spargo; her brother Thomas (Brenda) Spargo, her sister-in-law Brenda Spargo, and her brother-in-law Kenny McCartney.

Per Donna’s wishes, there will be no viewing.

There will be a memorial service for family and friends on October 5, 2024, at 3:00, with a small dinner after the service at Living Waters Community Church; 7382 Stewart Sharon Road; Brookfield OH.
