Dorothea Joyce (Rosenburg) Maylone

On Monday, April 8, 2024, Dorothea Joyce Maylone, age 75, of Austintown, OH died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on May 7, 1948, in Uniontown, PA to Willis Sanford and Elizabeth Jane (Myers) Rosenburg.

Anyone who knew Dorothea could see she had a passion for caring for others and that she lived a life serving others. She was employed as a nursing supervisor for over 30 years at Woodlands at Austinwoods Nursing home in Austintown.  

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth "Lisa"  A. Innocenzi; son, Joseph S. (Melissa) Innocenzi; long-time companion, best friend and true love, Joseph N. Innocenzi; sisters, Sherri (Kevin Loar) Martin, Susan (R. Dick) Robeken, sister-aunt, Clara Survillo; granddaughters, Sabrina (Tyler) Keltz, Victoria L. Innocenzi, Ella M. Essiambre; grandson, Joseph N. Innocenzi II, Jacob A. Essiambre; beloved great-granddaughter, Skylar Cynthea Loren Keltz, Bonnie Jane Innocenzi.

Besides her parents, Dorothea was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Maylone; granddaughter, Samantha Loren Jones.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Dorothea's honor on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Green Haven Cemetery located at 3495 South Canfield-Niles Road in Canfield from 2:00 PM - 3:00PM. Following the service there will be a luncheon for family and friends.
