Erla May (McEwen) Milliren

On Sunday, February 4, 2024, Erla May Milliren, age 81, left this life peacefully after a brief illness at Quality Life Services in Mercer, PA, with her family by her side. 

She was born in Mercer, PA on May 10, 1942, to William Earl McEwen and Dorothy May (Collins) McEwen and resided in Fredonia, PA. 

Erla was a 1961 graduate of Lakeview High School Stoneboro, PA. She loved doing crafts and sewing for her family and friends and was also a member of the Fredonia Volunteer Ladies Auxiliary for many years, helping in any way as needed.

She is survived by her daughters Patty (Sheldon Phillips) Tenney and Karen (Todd) Dyer; sister, Charlotte McEwen; grand-daughter Tiffany (Lucas) Erwin; great-granddaughter, Gracelyn May; and an aunt, Erma Reagle.

Besides her parents, Erla was preceded in death by her brother, Paul McEwen.

There will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a future time.
