Eugene "Gino" Paul Paglialong Jr

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, Eugene "Gino" Paglialong Jr, age 68, of New Castle, PA passed away at home surrounded by his family.  He was born in New Castle on November 19, 1957 to Eugene Paul and Marion (Maiella) Paglialong.

Gino is survived by his children, Lezley (Sam Ritter) Paglialong, Angela (Zach Kreidler) Paglialong, Nicholas (Amberlynn McConnell) Paglialong, Brent Paglialong all of New Castle; grandchildren, Gianna (Tyler Savage) Burcham, Elijah Vitale, Talaya McElroy, Timothy (TJ) McElroy and sister, Marcy (Randy) Beckinger.

Despite the hand he was dealt, Gino lived life to the fullest.  He had a contagious laugh and was always making a joke out of something. For many years Gino worked as an insurance agent and then pursued his love of cooking where he cooked at various places to include his family restaurant known as “Pags.” He enjoyed gambling on the horses, football, basketball but he enjoyed "his" cartoons even more. He also loved visiting with "family," blood or not. Gino was very accepting and made friends with everyone and ALL the animals he came across.

Besides his parent, Gino was also preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Paglialong and brother, Tommy Paglialong.
