On Friday, February 2, 2024, Evelyn Joyce Cozadd passed away in Austintown, OH. She was born September 6, 1939 in Pennsylvania to Howard Samuel Craft and Gertrude Kathryn (Cole) Craft and resided in Youngstown, OH.
Evelyn was a homemaker that loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and was also the favorite neighborhood mom. She was a rescuer of cats, dogs, birds, squirrels, turtles, etc. Evelyn would always talk to strangers like she knew them; loved to make people laugh (and shock them if she could). She was proud of her home and her strong will and determination enabled her to take on any project to maintain it.
Those surviving Evelyn are her children, Lori (Rocco) Polito, Michele (Dave) McLaughlin, Robert Cozadd, Jr., Douglas Cozadd, David Cozadd; grandchildren, Peter (Michelle) Polito, Rocco (Gabrielle) Polito, Jr., Anthony Polito, Tim Taft, Eryanne (Amir) Namakforoosh, Erika DeChalk, Brittney Cozadd, DJ Cozadd, Kyla Cozadd, Jacob Cozadd; great-grandchildren, Kensington Polito, Maverick Polito, Reilyn Polito, Gunner Polito, Rocky Polito, Trooper Polito, Domino Polito, Indigo Polito, Merit Namakforoosh, Milo Namakforoosh.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Cozadd Sr., her sisters, Lois (Tom) Adams, Phyllis (Richard) Hundorfean, and brother Ronald (Stella) Craft, as well as numerous nieces and nephews that she adored.
The family would like to thank her close friends Kathy & Jack Nemergut and Betty Bolha for always being there - she loved you; and the staff at AustinWoods Nursing Center and Southern Care Hospice for taking care of our Mom.
