Francesca Rosanne (D'Amato) Boron

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Francesca Rosanne Boron, age 72, passed away at Austintown Healthcare. She was born June 30, 1954, in Youngstown, OH, to Luigi and Aurora (DeMarco) D'Amato.

Francesca lived a life centered on family, work, and music. An important chapter of her life began when she met her husband, Phillip R. Boron, while they were both working at Kmart. They built their life in Struthers, OH, where they shared 27 years of marriage.

Music remained a significant part of Francesca’s life. For 10 years, she served as an organ player at Struthers United Methodist Church and also sang in the choir. Her work there reflected a sustained commitment to church music and to contributing her talents in a meaningful way.

Francesca is survived by her husband, Phillip R. Boron; son, Edward “EJ” (Randee) Boron; grandchildren, Marshall and Sawyer; brother, Luigi (Cindy) D’Amato; nieces, Kara and Chrissy; and dear friend, Dale Barringer. She was preceded in death by her parents.

From her beginnings in Youngstown to her years in Struthers, Francesca’s life was defined by the roles she held and the connections she maintained. Her years at Kmart and her decade of service in church music formed lasting parts of her life’s record and will remain central to how she is remembered.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and those who knew her.
