Fredrick "Ricky" Paul Howk III

On Thursday, August 28, 2025, Fredrick "Ricky" Paul Howk III, age 33, of Austintown, OH, died at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. He was born in New York on June 4, 1992 to Fredrick Howk Jr and Debora Ann (Binegar) Howk.

To know him was to love him. Ricky was an avid outdoorsman who loved taking his sons hiking, camping and taught them so much about the outdoors. He was the funniest guy you would ever meet. He' would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need of help. The loss of his light has impacted so many people and will for a long time to come.

Ricky is survived by his parents; beloved sons, Maximus Howk and Kaius Howk; former spouse, Karly Howk all of Austintown; sisters, Nicole Novak, Ashley (Ryan) Macri of Florida, and Jasmen Burgos, as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Howk.

Ricky proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

A Memorial Service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at First Federated Church, 10786 Mahoning Ave, North Jackson, OH 44451. Family to receive friends one hour prior starting at 3:00 pm.
