On Saturday, January 17, 2026, Gary Taylor Wadman, age 89, of Struthers, OH, passed away at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. He was born in McKeesport, PA, on October 2, 1936, to the late Morrel and Elizabeth (Taylor) Wadman.
Gary supported his family working for Youngstown Sheet & Tube company for over thirty years, and supported his community as a member and volunteer for the Salvation Army and as the Treasurer and Coach for the Struthers Baseball Club.
Gary was also an avid organ player, and his love of music is shared by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His greatest love was his family, whether he was watching them play baseball at Davis Field or Pemberton Park, attending their school concerts, plays, dance recitals, or simply listening to them play.
Gary is remembered by his wife of sixty-eight years, Gladys (Stare) Wadman; sons, Gary (Michelle) Wadman, Kevin (Maribeth) Wadman, Evan Wadman, Mark (Kim) Wadman; brother, Dale (Vicky) Wadman, and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
To honor his wishes, per Gary, "There will be NO damn services."
