Gayle Marie Hilton

On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, Gayle Marie Hilton, age 58, of Youngstown, OH passed away at Hospice of the Valley's Hospice House in Poland, OH. She was born in Youngstown on July 15, 1968, to Frank D Hilton and Karen Lynne (Tulipano) Donnadio.

Gayle was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved going against her family when it came to the rivalry between the Browns and Steelers. She enjoyed fishing with family and friends and gardening with her partner, Chris. Gayle was also a loving and giving person with a heart of gold. She showed that many times by fixing things for those she loved and going out of her way for those in need. Gayle was also a huge animal lover, her pets Gunner, Major, Rox, Amya and Tulips were a big part of her daily life. If all of this was not enough, Gayle's church and its congregation were also paramount to her, as well as her faith in Christ.

Gayle is survived by her partner of over twenty years, Chris Heslop of Youngstown; siblings, April Donnadio, Frank Hilton, Alexis Hilton; niece and "daughter", Karalynne (Nathan) Battista Smith, her princess baby girl who meant the world to her, other nieces, Vivianna Battista, Rianna Lynne Currie, Charlotte Smith, Maihue Rossi, Danielle Crawley; nephews, Christopher Rossi, Michael Rossi, Anthony Rossi, Zachary Rossi; uncles, Tony (Susan) Tulipano, Tom Tulipano; aunts, Kathy McLaughlin, Deb Shay, cousins, Tom Tulipano and David Tulipano.

Besides her parents, Gayle was also preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Hilton; grandmother, Betty; aunt, Ro, Deb Tulipano and cousin, Bryan Tulipano and Terry Bucklew.
