George Carl Westhead

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, George Carl Westhead, age 63, passed away unexpectedly in Youngstown, OH. He was born November 4, 1961, in Youngstown OH to Donald and Barbara (Valentine) Westhead.

George was a proud graduate of Chaney High School, Class of 1980. He went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1981 to 1983. Following his military service, George worked for various medical supply companies and held positions at North Side Hospital in Sterile Supply and at Calvary Cemetery.

George is survived by his sons, Dalton (Lindsey) Westhead, Joshua (Devin) Westhead; two grandsons; siblings, Evelyn S. King, James D. (Sue) Westhead, Dwight E. (April) Westhead, Donald B. Westhead Jr., and Ray F. (Linda) Westhead, as well as, several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, George was also preceded in death his brother, William K. Westhead and sister-in-law, Cheryl Westhead.
