Gerald Melvin Whitmore

On Friday, September 6, 2024, Gerald “Jerry” Melvin Whitmore, age 59, of Austintown OH, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital – Youngstown. He was born October 7, 1964, to Walter and Elizabeth (Lucas) Whitmore at Ft. Benning GA.

Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, whether relaxing lakeside with a fishing pole in hand or roughing it in nature while camping. When the weather didn’t allow for fishing and camping, you could find Jerry inside entertaining himself with video games.

Jerry is survived by his sister, Sharon Isenberg of Massillon OH; niece, Michelle Margazano and Audrey Schering; nephew Ronald Whitmore; and many great nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his siblings, Nancy Warren and Walter Whitmore.
