James Edward Panak

On Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, James "Jim" Edward Panak, age 60, passed away to be with the Lord, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. He was born on Jan. 30, 1964, in Bristolville, Ohio, the son of the late Wendell Michael Panak and the late Velma Nolene (Hensley) Panak.  

Jim was an avid Cleveland sports fan, enjoyed fishing, and loved animals. 

He is survived by his longtime companion of 35 years, Eloise "Elle" Hines of Youngstown; a sister Leslie A. (Thomas) Sams of Warren  OH; a brother Richard M.(Jenny) Panak Sr. of Folsom, PA; nieces Melissa J. Bouck of Hermitage, PA; Rachel Panak of Folsom, PA; Elizabeth (Thomas) Zena of Canfield; nephews Jason B. (Jamie) Clark of Warren, Richard M. (Bob) Panak, Jr. of Folsom, PA; grand-nephews Noah D. Diana, Matthew Clark, Benjamin Clark; and grand-nieces Lauren Clark, Issabel Bouck, and Aubree Love. 

In honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and a private family celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
