James Cleveland Simmons

Unexpectedly, on Monday May 5, 2025, James Simmons, age 42, of Youngstown, OH pass away at home of complications from diabetes.  He was born on January, 31, 1983 in Buffalo, New York to Grover Cleveland Simmons and Alice Faye (Thompson) Jenkins.

Besides his parents, James is also survived by his son, Sage Hallman; siblings, Faydra Spikes, Zeriah Cheatham, Marcus Cheatham, Nathaniel Thompson, Charles Thompson, Sherita Simmons, Erick Simmons; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

James loved to ride his bike throughout town, fish and cheer his for his favorite team "the Green Bay Packers." More than that James just enjoyed life all by itself! He will be truly missed but he will forever be in our hearts.
