Janeanne Marie Dottle

Janeanne Marie Dottle, age 67, of New Castle, PA passed away the morning of Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at home after battling dementia for several years. 

She was born on December 15, 1953 in New Castle, PA, a daughter of George Ira Johnston and Patricia Ann (Costello) Johnston. She was a graduate of Ne-Ca-Hi.

Janeanne was a stay-at-home mom, wife and homemaker. She was married to her loving husband, Benjamin for 49 years. She enjoyed cooking, yard work, reading, movies, shopping, dining out, music, and most of all babysitting and raising children. She was known for her kindness as well as her generosity. She loved sharing stories and bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, George I. Johnston, Jr.; and her father-in-law, Benjamin F. Dottle Sr.

Janeanne leaves behind her husband, Benjamin F. Dottle, Jr.; her three sons, Benjamin F. Dottle III, Anthony M. Dottle, and Brian A. Dottle; her two daughters-in-law, Teresa and Valerie; her seven grandchildren, Benjamin, Emily, Lyla, Zoe, Conner, Gabriella and Scarlett; her mother-in-law, Leta; and her brother-in-law, William.

There will be no public services.
