Jeffrey John Plant, 68, of Niles, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Warren, Ohio. He was born August 28, 1952 in Warren, Ohio to Jack and Eunice (Campbell) Plant. He was educated by Mineral Ridge City Schools. He retired after years of dedicated service from 7-Up, where he was employed as a driver in beverage distribution. Jeffrey enjoyed numerous hobbies and passions including golf, the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Indians, Ohio State, NASCAR, music, old movies, talk radio, gardening, artistry, politics, and his desire to be a lifelong learner. He may best be remembered for his quirky humor, his easy going nature, and his lack of ability to rush anything.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Marjorie. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his adoring daughter Angela (Ryan Love) Plant of Huron, Ohio; and Marjorie's children Barbara (Dominic) Armeni of Niles, Sandra (Steve) Horney of Austintown, Robin (Rick) Chenoweth of Niles, and Joe D'Andrea of Austintown. His grandchildren, Shawn (Amanda) Buskirk, Ashley (Cody) Kale, Abby Horney, DJ (Ashley) Armeni, Sarah Armeni, Victoria Mayfield, Rachael Chenoweth, Michael Chenoweth, and Liliana D'Andrea. He also had 6 great grandchildren. Surviving siblings include Marsha (Skip) Jones, Mark (Sheri) Plant, Randy Plant, Melissa (Bob) Hanley, and Michelle Plant, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey will be deeply missed by his family and those who knew him. He will be interred at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield, Ohio. There will be no memorial services at this time due to the coronavirus.
