Jennings Randolph Channell

On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2024, Jennings Randolph, age 93, formerly of Girard, OH passed away at Hospice House in Poland.  He was born in Valley Head, West Virginia on January 9, 1931 to Cantor and Fanny (Pritt) Channell.

Jennings is survived by his children, Robin (Tom) Koczwara, Cheryl (Frank) Tascione, all of Austintown, OH; siblings, Lowell (Betty) Channell of Girard, OH, Izetta Aubel of Austintown, OH, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Jennings was also preceded in death by his wife, Lena (Ferraro) Channell and son, Mark Channell.

Jennings honorably served his county in the United States Army and was Prisoner of War during Korean Conflict. He worked and retired from Copperweld Steel. Jennings also loved the outdoors, eating candy, drinking chocolate milk and reading his bible everyday.

A private Memorial and Burial will take place with Military Honors.
