On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Jo Ann Cameron, age 58, of Youngstown OH passed away at Hospice House, Poland OH. She was born in Arlington, WA on November 20, 1966, to Bobby and Josefa Ritchie.
On July 26, 1986, Jo Ann married David Cameron, the love of her life and best friend. Together they built a family rooted in love and faith. Jo Ann dedicated herself to raising and homeschooling their three children, bringing creativity and joy into their education. Her passion for teaching was matched by her devotion to her faith. She actively shared the word of Yashua through daily life, Messianic Lamb Radio, and her congregation at Life of Worship. Known for her infectious laughter and playful spirit, Jo Ann brought light to every gathering
She is lovingly remembered by her husband David and children: Daniel (Melissa) Cameron, Michael Cameron, and Jessica (Codi) Williams; and grandchildren, Persephonie, Madalynne, Emma, and Toby. Jo Ann is also survived by her mother, Josefa, with whom she shared a special bond and daily conversations in Spanish, a reflection of Jo Ann’s heritage.
Jo Ann is also survived by her siblings, William (Angela) Ritchie and Estela (Brian) Thompson, and nephews Marcus and Ryan; and niece Brooke.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Ritchie.
A gifted creator, Jo Ann, found joy in crocheting handmade gifts for her grandchildren—blankets, hats, and stuffed animals crafted with love. She also nurtured a thriving vegetable garden nearly every year and delighted in cooking healthy meals for her family.
Her time at Windsor House of Canfield and Hospice House in Poland was marked by meaningful connections with staff and residents alike—relationships her family deeply appreciated.
Jo Ann’s memory will live on through the lives she touched with warmth, faith, and unwavering love.
