Jon Zeigler Obituary

On Monday, May 6, 2024, Jon Robert Zeigler, age 69, of Mineral Ridge, OH passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Poland.  He was born on July 24, 1954, in Cleveland, OH to Franklin E. and Mildred J. (Brady) Zeigler. 

Jon was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a 1973 graduate of Principia High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Jon married his wife Michele in 1996 and together they raised their family in Mineral Ridge, Ohio. He was employed as an IT specialist and worked at Electronic Data Systems for many years. 

Jon will be remembered for his great sense of humor...he could make anyone laugh. His family will also remember the many trips to Handel's and how John always got his favorite flavor, strawberry. In his free time, he loved to travel with his family and he also enjoyed watching his favorite teams the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Guardians.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Michele Zeigler of Mineral Ridge, OH; sons, Austin and Evan Zeigler, both of Mineral Ridge, OH; sister, Lynn Sargent of Wadestown, WV and sister-in-law, Jan Zeigler of East Longmeadow, MA.  He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. 

Besides his parents, Jon was preceded in death by his brother Roy Zeigler and uncles, Dean and William Brady. 

In accordance with Jon's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Service will be held with his family in Cleveland.
