June Rose (Essany) Kausits

On Sunday, December 15, 2024, June Rose Kausits, age 93, of Youngstown OH passed away, surrounded by family at Windsor House at Omni Manor in Youngstown, OH. June was born on June 28, 1931, in Youngstown OH, a daughter of Stephen and Mary (Hudak) Essany. She lived most of her life in Campbell, OH.

June was a member of St. Stephen of Hungary Church and Holy Name Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking Hungarian dishes and spending time with her family. She liked playing Bingo, reading health and home remedy books, listening to music, and taking walks in Mill Creek Park Fellows Riverside Gardens.

June is survived by two sons, David (Lisa) Kausits of Lowellville, OH, and Steven (Shawn) Kausits of Youngstown, OH; a daughter, Mary (George) Krinos of Hubbard; five grandchildren, Jessica (Jake) Neill of Laveen, AZ, David Jr (Vilmary) Kausits of Campbell, OH, Joseph (Ashley) Kausits of North Lima, OH, Emily Krinos of Christianburg, VA and Elisabeth Krinos of Lakewood, OH; four great-grandchildren, Izabella, Mateo, Adan, and Daimary.

She was preceded in death by Dezso Kausits, whom she married on May 28, 1960; five brothers, Earnest, Frank, Steve, Louis, and William Essany; three sisters, Betty Sera, Julia Shirkman, and Mary Olah; and her son-in-law, George Krinos.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends of June Kausits will take place at a later date.
