Kenneth Albert Hickman, 59, passed away peacefully in Struthers, Ohio, on December 31, 2024.
Kenneth was born on July 30, 1965, in Calcutta, Ohio, to the late Kenny Hickman and Marion Jean Tucker-Hickman. A proud graduate of Beaver Local High School’s Class of 1984, he went on to build a successful career in the machinist industry, dedicating 25 years to Cowles Tool. Kenneth began his family in Youngstown, Ohio, before settling in Struthers during his later years.
Known for his generosity and warm spirit, Kenneth enjoyed golfing, watching movies, building model cars, and playing video games. He cherished time spent traveling with his family, exploring flea markets, and attending sporting events with his son and friends.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenny Hickman III (Tammy) of New Middletown; his daughter, Nicole Gordon (Nicholas) of Austintown; two siblings, Elizabeth McKenzie (Leonard) of West Point, Ohio, and William Thompson (Kathy) of Mississippi; a brother-in-law, Fred Wildes (Mary) of Struthers; and a sister-in-law, Jackie Tate of Austintown. He also leaves behind five beloved grandchildren: Temperance, Serenity, Ariel, Wyatt, and Marlayna.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Deborah Lynn Hickman; and his cherished wife of 40 years, Rebecca Hickman. Kenneth and Rebecca shared a deep bond and were inseparable throughout their life together. Though deeply missed by his family and friends, there is solace in knowing they are reunited once more.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, a private gathering will be held at a later date.
May Kenneth’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
